I'd like the Half Pounder, please.
I went to Wendy's the other day and had a random thought about something at McDonald's. I know that doesn't make much sense, but neither does calling a hamburger with 1/2 pound of meat a Double Quarter Pounder. Come on McDonald's call it what it really is: a Half Pounder. The other thing that happened when I opened one of my Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers, I got a bonus side salad. My burger had practically a whole head of lettuce on it. So there's my random thought for the time. I want everyone to join me in a petition to force McDonald's to change the name of the Double Quarter Pounder to the Half Pounder (maybe then I'll stop eating it).

Latest Pet Peeve
Here's my latest pet peeve. You know when you get a wrong number and the conversation goes something like this (that is if your name's not Bob): Caller, "Is Bob there?" You, "I think you have the wrong number." Caller, "This is 555-6327, isn't it?" First problem here is even if they say the wrong number it's like they didn't believe that it was a wrong number, "It sure is 555-6327 and this is Bob. I was just kidding around with you." Second problem is if they said the right number they're still doubting the validity of your previous answer, "You know that is the right number and you must be right about Bob being at this number, let me see if I can find him." Seriously people if you call the wrong number just say sorry and hang up.

Wow
Well I figured I should let everyone know that I'm not dead or anything (yet). School started last week and I'm in over my head. 18 credit hours (CRAZY). It's not only the fact that I have 18 credit hours, it's the fact that nearly every class has a huge group/individual project. I also wanted to let everyone know that I've broken down and started a file on Facebook.com, so look me up if you like.

I'm published too!
I just found out today that a book that I did some work on is being published. I didn't want to have to show Marty up, but here's the first look at it.
That's right. It's a paper airplane book. I designed, folded, and test flew most of the planes in that book. I have battle scars to prove it. Multiple cuts on my hands and a near lost eye (one of the planes was named the "Head Hunter" for a reason. Normally I would encourage every one to go out and buy it, but it's not out yet and the company that produced it ripped off the company that I used to work for, so don't buy it.

Happy Next Year!!!
I haven't written anything for awhile (as if the time stamp on the posts didn't tell you that). Semester's almost over, getting a little busy with finals and final projects. Anyway, this morning I had a random thought while taking out the garbage: Shouldn't our birthdays really be our "Happy New Year", and the New Year be more like "Happy Next Year"? Because technically a "New Year" for us would be from day we were born and moving from 2007 to 2008 would only be "Next Year". I hope that makes sense. Because it does to me. So everyone have a HAPPY NEXT YEAR!!!
P.S. I've been reading Mr. Davis' book "Shadows of Nothing", and it's really really good. It usually takes me about a month to two months to read a book of that length, but I'm almost done and I've only had it for three days. I suggest you get a copy, check out amazon.com or bn.com. He wrote it under the name M. Hal Davis. Highly recommended.

Wish List
Just thought that if anyone wanted to they could take a look at my Christmas wish list and get me whatever they wanted to from the list. So here goes:
- iPhone
- The Millionaire Next Door (book, not my neighbor)
- Christmas out of the month of November, well at least before Thanksgiving
- A diploma
- ALL THE LAKES TO FREEZE!!!
Not much, I want the last three things more than anything. So anyone that can help me out with that it would be great.

Come on ICE!
It's that time of year again. Time for the crazies to get out on the frozen lakes and catch fish. This is the typical scene on a typical day ice fishing.
If you don't have one of these, you're not going to have a good time ice fishing. Pretty much you'll freeze your butt off and if your lucky catch a few fish. It helps soooooooo much to know whether or not you're actually above fish or not. Thank goodness for fish finders!
Wire bobbers are a lifesaver too. They help you see the light bites that you otherwise might not feel because fish don't always attack the bait like they do when the lake's not frozen.
Thanksgiving's done...CHRISTMAS TIME!!!
Hope every one had a great Thanksgiving. I know I did. But if you know me I don't celebrate Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but when I do I celebrate Christmas. So that's right boys and girls, it's Christmas time. I hope every one has a good Christmas season and that every one remembers what Christmas is all about...THE PRESENTS!!! Just kidding, anyway, have a good one every one.

New Web Site
As part of a class that I have I have to construct a web site. It's a very basic web site but I thought it would be fun to take it live. It's not 100% done, so some of the links won't work, but check it out and if there's a typo or something doesn't look right let me know. It's hard to make sure that I'm spelling everything right and that the sentences flow when I'm typing it on notepad. Anyway the site is http://kristopher.lightfoot.angelfire.com/Default.htm. It's on a free site so you'll have to put up with the ads. Enjoy.
